Settings
It is highly recommended for merchants to create and configure their settings profile as soon as possible.
To access your settings, select Settings on the navigation sidebar.
General
- System:
- Rows Returned Per Page - Determines the number of rows displayed on every table.
- Invoice Starting Number - Determines the starting number for the sequential invoice number generator.
- Receipt:
- Email From - The email address alias when sending emails to customers.
- Email To - The email address customers can contact for FAQ, replies, etc.
- Subject Prefix - The prefix to an email subject line. It is recommended to keep this simple, such as the company name, to help customers quickly identify you as the sender.
- Billing:
- Times to Retry Payment - The number of additional processing attempts for any failed recurring billing payments. The maximum number of attempts is 3.
- Run Billing for Credit Cards - Determines the hour (Pacific Standard Time) at which recurring billing for cards will begin processing.
- Batch:
- Batch Email - A list of email addresses where batch reports will be sent to.
- Invoices
- Prompt Discount - Determines the visibility of the discount prompt on invoices.
- Prompt Tip - Determines the visibility of the tip prompt on invoices.
- Prompt Shipping - Determines the visibility of the shipping prompt on invoices.
Merchant
Merchant Settings
This section contains settings that are managed on our servers by the Reef Pay Team. The information found here may be displayed on various customer correspondences, such as receipts and invoices.
Please contact your agent to change these settings.
Other
This section contains two settings that can be managed directly:
- Email Address - The company email address. This may be displayed to customers.
- Website - The URL to the company website. This may be displayed to customers.
Users

This section of Reef Pay is only accessible to our proprietary admin account!
Adding a New User
- Click Add New User.
- Enter the username.
- Enter the user email address.
- Enter the password.
- Select a user role:
- Office - An SPS office account with access to all merchants.
- Merchant - A single merchant account with access to their own merchant data.
- Agent - An SPS agent account with access to their assigned merchants. If selected, enter your Agent ID.
- If possible, select the merchants which this user will have access to.
- Click Create.
Editing a User
- To edit an existing user, double-click the row of the user.
- To delete a user, click the red trash icon on the row of the user.

Be sure you really want to delete the user. This action cannot be undone.
